The communication and friendliness stand out the most. I was always kept in the loop as my process went on and it was always from a friendly email/text/ phone call. This is my second time working with Shawn Cannon and his team and will recommend them to family and friends in a heartbeat!

Shawn did a great job transitioning us into a refinance, but once that took place everything started to go down hill. The closing date was delayed three times, the amount required from us at closing went up each time we talked. The increases were due to real expenses, but they were not calculated in until the end. The mortgage company QFinancial uses did not did not get the funds to the mortgage company handling the property until mid afternoon, on the projected day of closing, adding another day to the closing because of record processing.

Shawn was so great to work with. He was prompt and very communicative. He helped make this transaction extremely smoothe for me and my buyers.

Shawn Cannon is the greatest mortgage broker in the history of western civilization. I’m not sure if they had mortgage brokers pre-Renaissance , but if they did, he would kick their ass.

Poor communication, we were told and expected weekly updates and there weren't any. My client and I both made attempts to get information but we're ignored. The first phone call I got from Shawn was nearly 3 weeks into the transaction and he wanted something from me. Response to my questions during that call were unsatisfactory. When talking with my client and the title rep we experienced the similar "ghosting" on attempts to contact and when we compared notes on what he told us it seemed as though he was telling us different things to answer the same questions. My client spoke with Jodie who was out original contact and she told us something about the transaction we never heard from Shawn. We still don't know why we closed nearly 3 weeks late except the last weekend was caused by weather delays getting docs back from Arkansas. Because Shawn was so bad about communicating with us he gets all the credit for the delays
